About the opportunity
Reporting to the Regional Procurement Manager for a global healthcare company, your job will be to manage the day to day procurement activities for ANZ.
You will be responsible for indirect categories including marketing, professional services and logistics amongst others.
 
Duties
  • Lead strategies and savings projects within specific spend categories
  • Support the implementation of global and regional procurement projects
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure projects and sourcing strategies are implemented effectively
  • Support and guide local stakeholders to ensure compliance across process and policies
  • Provide systems support
  • Prepare monthly reports including spend report, savings reports and reports for supply chain as required
  • Help improve contract management and third party engagement
  • Manage the purchase order approval process as per policies
  • Manage and monitor local supplier base
  • Assess opportunities for process improvement across the function

 
Skills and Experience
  • Solid experience in procurement managing a variety of indirect categories ideally including marketing
  • Experience in working in the healthcare industry would be advantageous
  • Experience in procurement in a large organisation
  • Demonstrated abilities with data analysis and report preparation
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to negotiate
  • Results focused
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise your workload
