About The Clinic

This Practice is a  leading private cardiology clinic in Sydney, serving a team of eight esteemed cardiologists. The practice is committed to providing exceptional cardiac care to patients through the latest diagnostic techniques and compassionate care.


Role Overview:

The clinic is seeking an experienced and dedicated Cardiac Physiologist to join the team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in conducting and preparing patients for a range of cardiac diagnostic procedures, ensuring accurate diagnosis and high-quality patient care.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for various cardiac tests, including stress tests, electrocardiograms (ECG)
  • Prepare patients for cardiac procedures such as Holter Monitor, blood pressure monitor, and Heartbug.
  • Explain examination procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and confusion, fostering increased patient cooperation.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Interpret computerized Holter monitors using the Norav Program.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide quality care and emotional support to patients.
  • Train and mentor new technicians on proper procedures and techniques, contributing to higher quality patient care and workflow.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of patients and staff, maintaining and cleaning cardiac equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Oversee the maintenance of sufficient stock for all clinic operations and delegate tasks as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a cardiac physiology role, preferably in a busy clinic setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with experience in training and mentoring staff.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cardiac diagnostic procedures and equipment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
