The Clinic  

This practice is located in Sydney's North Shore.  The clinic is a renowned medical facility committed to delivering exceptional cardiac care to the community. The Clinic prides itself on offering state-of-the-art diagnostic services and a collaborative approach to patient care. The practice is seeking a very experienced Cardiac Sonographer to provide locum support to a dynamic team using GE and Tempo Reporting. 

Responsibilities: As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be a vital part of our diagnostic team, responsible for performing a variety of cardiac ultrasound studies. Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting echo cardiograms and producing preliminary reports 
  • Performing stress echo cardiograms 
  • Collaborating with cardiologists to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information
  • Ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
  • Providing high quality patient care  
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent
  • Current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
  • Proficient in performing a variety of cardiac ultrasound studies
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
