The practice is seeking a very experienced Cardiac Sonographer to provide locum support to a dynamic team using GE and Tempo Reporting.
Responsibilities: As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be a vital part of our diagnostic team, responsible for performing a variety of cardiac ultrasound studies. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting echo cardiograms and producing preliminary reports
- Performing stress echo cardiograms
- Collaborating with cardiologists to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information
- Ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Providing high quality patient care
- Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent
- Current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
- Proficient in performing a variety of cardiac ultrasound studies
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
