In this role, you will perform the following duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality echo cardiograms, stress echo cardiograms and produce preliminary reports.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other health-care professionals
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Stay abreast of advancements in cardiac imaging technology
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure a comfortable and informed experience for patients undergoing cardiac imaging procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Science or similar discipline
- Accreditation with the Australasian Sonographers Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
- Proven experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality
- Ability to use GE Vivid IQ machines
- Willing to learn how to use Echo Pac Reporting system
