About the Role
Owing to staff's planned holiday leave, a vacancy for a qualified and ASAR-accredited locum/casual cardiac sonographer has become available.In this role, you will be responsible for independently performing a range of cardiovascular ultrasound services using Philips machines.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality cardiac ultrasounds, including 2D/3D echocardiograms, Doppler studies, and stress echocardiograms, adhering to established protocols.
- Collect relevant patient history and clinical information to support diagnostic accuracy.
- Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, providing preliminary reporting to assist with diagnosis.
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the procedure.
- Deliver exceptional care and professionalism, reflecting the values of the practice
Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a Graduate Diploma of Medical Sonography (or equivalent).
- Be registered with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) and maintain current accreditation.
- Demonstrate exceptional technical proficiency in performing routine cardiovascular ultrasounds.
- Have excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
- Experience performing TTE and produce preliminary reports.
- Passionate and motivated with a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining a high standard of accuracy in imaging.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Collaborative and able to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
