Boutique, privately owned/ operated clinic located in Pyrmont- only 10 minutes from Wynyard/ Town Hall. This small team of Medical Professionals are seeking a proven Senior Medical Receptionist or Practice Manager to support the practice while their current support person is on extended leave.
About the opportunity
This practice reflects a calm & polished environment, where patients feel supported and safe. Warm and empathetic client service capabilities are vital to fulfil this role effectively. Using Best Practice and the full HICAPS/ Medicare billing system is a requirement daily. You will support inventory management, billing, communications and effecting scheduling between Mon- Thursday between 09:00am- 4:30pm. This role would cater well to an established Senior Medical Receptionist/ Practice Manager that is comfortable being the face and voice of a clinic.

Duties
- Manage the front desk reception area (Phone and Walk Ins)
- Manage all patient bookings, ensuring appointment books are filled
- Maintain the clinic's website and external communications
- Collect payments and reconcile Medicare/ Medical Fund subsidies
- Manage all marketing activities- calling referred patients, sending out corporate emails and posting clinic updates on social media
- Provide patients with advice and answers to complex queries with urgency
Skills and Experience
- Previous exposure to private practice medical administration
- Experience managing front reception
- Systems oriented- Microsoft Suite & Best Practice
- Capability to problem solve and stay organised
- Strong attention to detail
