About the opportunity: As a Medical Science Liaison in an expanding ophthalmology division, you'll play a crucial role in pre-launch activities for groundbreaking gene therapies, engaging with key opinion leaders and shaping the future of eye care.
Duties:
Engage in scientific exchange with healthcare professionals and key external experts
Gather and analyze field data to generate valuable medical insights
Execute tactical field plans for medical/scientific community engagement
Stay current with evolving trends in disease state management and therapies
Support medical education activities
Identify and cultivate relationships with potential future stakeholders
Provide scientific expertise to ensure safe and effective product use
Skills and Experience:
Master's degree in a health-related science field (required)
Previous experience as an MSL or commercial role specifically in pre-launch activities
Strong TA knowledge in Ophthalmology or Gene Therapy (desired)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex scientific concepts
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects
