About the opportunity
As an Occupational Health Specialist, you will be responsible for enabling employee well-being, enforcing occupational health policies, and fostering a safe workplace culture. You will be reporting directly into the Senior EHS Manager, and will have be responsible for a team of 2. Health and safety is a major priority for this company, so you will be at the heart of the organisation.  

Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Provide occupational health, safety, and rehabilitation services.
  • Enforce EHS policies and contribute to a safe workplace culture.
  • Report incidents and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder management internally and externally
  • Organise health and well-being programs and initiatives
  • Maintain medical records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Manage a team of 2 reporting directly into you.
  • Coordinate training and prepare reports.

Skills and Experience
  • Occupational Health Qualification 
  • Registered Nurse (not required but highly regarded)
  • Skilled in Workers Compensation and Return to Work Coordination Communication, negotiation and presenting skills 
  • Organised and ability to work with initiative
