About the opportunity As an Occupational Health Specialist, you will be responsible for enabling employee well-being, enforcing occupational health policies, and fostering a safe workplace culture. You will be reporting directly into the Senior EHS Manager, and will have be responsible for a team of 2. Health and safety is a major priority for this company, so you will be at the heart of the organisation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide occupational health, safety, and rehabilitation services.
Enforce EHS policies and contribute to a safe workplace culture.
Report incidents and comply with regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder management internally and externally
Organise health and well-being programs and initiatives
Maintain medical records and ensure confidentiality.
Manage a team of 2 reporting directly into you.
Coordinate training and prepare reports.
Skills and Experience
Occupational Health Qualification
Registered Nurse (not required but highly regarded)
Skilled in Workers Compensation and Return to Work Coordination Communication, negotiation and presenting skills
Organised and ability to work with initiative
