About the opportunity
The Operations and Production Planner will lead and manage the process order management for assigned work centres across primary and secondary manufacturing considering all aspects of capacity, materials and regulatory approvals within a cGMP facility.

Duties
  • Review, adjust and highlight any issues with maintaining the planned orders according to monthly S&OP process
  • Manage the release and tracking of process orders against plan with supporting departments for completion
  • Facilitate the weekly commitment meetings with the manufacturing areas, QC, QA and logistics
  • Prioritise and communicate required QA/QC release dates to avoid delays production, shipping and supply plans
  • Coordinate the completion of SAP transactions in relation to fill finish activities from CMOs
  • Creation of inspection lots for testing, transfer of bulk and intermediates to vendor and goods receipting
  • Input data to S&OP processes as required, including the monthly creation of the site
  • Represent Supply Chain at operational meetings as required and lead Supply Chain topics
  • Lead and optimise production planning management strategies for site in alignment with global processes
  • Travel is required between sites
 
Skills and Experience
  • Must have a Degree in Business or Science
  • Needs production planning experience in SAP
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Be data-driven and efficient
  • Excellent communication skills (including escalation)
  • Pharmaceutical experience
  • Strong technical understanding of Supply Chain processes and systems, with knowledge of cGMP, TGA and FDA
  • Experience working with cold chain technologies and logistics
  • Strong competency in domestic and international freight, customs, and import/export regulations
  • Strong safety mindset to proactively manage high volume, high throughput warehouse and logistics operations
