About the Opportunity
As the Pharmacovigilance Manager, you will oversee the operations of the Pharmacovigilance Department in Australia and New Zealand. You will serve as the QPPV, managing safety issues and collaborating with various business units including Medical Affairs and Regulatory Affairs. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with local regulations and maintaining drug safety standards. You will lead a team, manage external stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PV framework.
 
Duties
  • Act as the primary contact for TGA regarding pharmacovigilance.
  • Manage adverse event reporting and safety information processing.
  • Supervise recruitment, training, and performance management of PV staff.
  • Ensure compliance with local PV regulations and internal policies.
  • Prepare for audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Liaise with global teams to establish best practices.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on adverse event reporting.
 
Skills and Experience
  • Tertiary degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Nursing or related healthcare degres
  • 5+ years PV experience
  • Line management experience
  • Strong leadership and relationship management abilities
