About the opportunity
The Quality Control Analytical Technology Scientist will develop and coordinate the associated experimental and documentation activities to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Duties
  • Scientist position within Chemistry Quality Control, working under guidance of senior scientist
  • Performing method development, validation and bench experiments
  • Project planning, putting together experimental test plans
  • Authoring protocols and reports
  • Attending regular meetings as required to go through project plan and report on day to day responsibilities
  • Role reports to Head of QCAT but also will be reporting through to person based in Bern for technical aspects of the role

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Engineering
  • Must have 3 years’ experience in cGMP Quality Control, or 1 years’ experience in method development for assessment of biological pharmaceutical products
  • Knowledge of Spectroscopy (FTIR, X-Ray, Fluorescence, Raman), Titrimetry and Nitrogen Determination by Combustion
  • Familiarity with LIMs system
  • Familiarity with QC lab functions
  • Must be able to work autonomously but also work well with team
