The Quality Control microbiology Analyst will develop and coordinate the associated experimental and documentation activities to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Duties
- QC Analyst position within microbiology department, must be happy to work with animals
- Support the team to ensure assays are performed in accordance with GMP across bacteriology, virology an sterility
- Additional responsibilities using Embryonated eggs, Bioburden testing, Stasis testing and Microbial IDs
- Assist in the review, update and issue of documentation
- Represent the department at regular meetings as required
- Role reports to QC Team Leader
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Scientific subject and/or demonstrated laboratory experience
- Must be happy to work with animals, and experience in the area would be advantageous
- Knowledge of microbial testing with experience in assay preparation essential
- Familiarity with QC lab functions
- Ability to accurately mainain testing records and use of comuter systems for data entry
- Must be able to work autonomously but also work well with team
