The Vacancy  

The Private Hospital is seeking a skilled and passionate Theatre Nurse to join a small and friendly team. The Theatre Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of surgical equipment and supplies
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with their transfer to and from the operating room
  • Provide post-operative care to patients in the recovery room
  • Work collaboratively with other health care professionals to ensure the highest standard of care
The hospital supports a range of surgical speciality, including general surgery, orthopaedics, endoscopy, ENT, Ophthalmology, and dental. With three operating theatres, they perform approximately 6,000 surgeries annually, providing ample opportunities for professional growth and development. The hospital is committed to cross-training  staff across different medical speciality to enhance your skills and expertise.


Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a theatre setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work across different speciality
  • Passion for delivering high-quality patient care
This position offers a full time or fixed-term contract with a competitive hourly rate and other additional benefits.
