Position Overview: The hospital is seeking a motivated and skilled Scrub Nurse to join the team. As a Scrub Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting the surgeons during various medical procedures. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced team, including anaesthetic nurses, scrub scouts, and recovery nurses.

The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced team, including anaesthetic nurses, scrub scouts, and recovery nurses.
Responsibilities:
- Scrub in and assist surgeons during surgeries across different medical specialties
- Ensure the sterile field is maintained throughout the surgical procedure
- Collaborate with the anaesthetic nurse, scrub scouts, and other team members for efficient patient care
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure the highest standards of safety and infection control
- Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to different surgical procedures
- Willingness to participate in cross-training to support various surgical specialties
- Registered Nurse qualification with relevant Scrub Nurse experience
- Willing to support general surgery, orthopaedics, endoscopy, ENT, Ophthalmologist, and dentist
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and infection control practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small and friendly team
- Flexibility to participate in on-call duties,
- Capacity to work a 38-hour week and will consider applicants, interested in working part time.
