About the Opportunity
This role plays a key part in maintaining and optimising life-saving medical equipment across healthcare settings. You’ll be responsible for installation, servicing, and troubleshooting specialised devices, working closely with internal teams and healthcare professionals. Reporting to the Regional Technical Services Lead, you’ll provide technical expertise and contribute to product improvements, ensuring exceptional service standards.
Duties
Install, commission, and maintain healthcare equipment
Troubleshoot technical faults and escalate as needed
Provide training and support to internal and external stakeholders
Assist in product improvement and workflow efficiencies
Forecast and manage spare parts and maintenance kits
Collaborate with commercial teams on product demonstrations
Prepare technical service reports and documentation
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Work closely with regional and global support teams
Requirements
Extensive experience as a Field Service Engineer
Queensland Electrical Work License is essential
Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical qualification
Own vehicle and valid drivers licence
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work on call hours when required, including weekends
Ability to work autonomously
Patient centric with a sense of urgency
Excellent communication
Ability to commit to a 12 month assignment
