About the Opportunity:
This newly created role offers the chance to take ownership of financial reporting and taxation processes while working closely with stakeholders across the business. You will oversee the preparation and review of technical accounting papers, ensure compliance with local tax laws, and collaborate with a shared service centre for financial reporting.

Duties:

• Lead financial reporting and tax accounting processes
• Prepare and review technical accounting papers
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws (FBT, BAS, direct/indirect tax)
• Coordinate with offshore finance teams for reporting and compliance
• Review work completed by the shared service centre
• Engage with local, regional, and global finance teams
• Support system enhancements, including ERP implementation

Skills and Experience:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA (Australia)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS, compliance)
• Hands-on taxation experience (FBT, BAS, direct/indirect tax)
• Experience working in a shared service model preferred
