About the opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but growing Clinical Affairs team, where you'll be responsible for the preclinical development of cutting-edge medical device products. Working closely with the Senior Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring product safety and efficacy through various scientific processes.

Duties
• Review standards, guidelines, and literature to develop safety and efficacy requirements
• Conduct literature reviews for hazard analysis and risk assessments
• Develop testing protocols and provide input into study design
• Analyze and interpret research data, preparing comprehensive study reports
• Design tests and leverage research knowledge for scientifically sound studies
• Coordinate external studies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Maintain Quality Management System documentation
• Present research findings in various formats, including peer-reviewed publications

Skills and Experience
• PhD in life sciences or equivalent commercial experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience in designing and analyzing preclinical or analytical studies
• Background in microbiology or biochemistry preferred
• Strong protocol development and study design skills
• Experience in commercial research and product development setting
