Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a range of sleep and respiratory conditions, including sleep apnea, asthma, COPD, and other pulmonary disorders.
- Conduct sleep studies and interpret results to guide treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with a team of cardiologists, respiratory therapists, and allied health professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Provide consultations, ongoing care, and management for patients with chronic respiratory issues.
- Engage in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives if desired.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent.
- Specialist registration with AHPRA as a Respiratory and Sleep Physician.
- Expertise in the diagnosis and management of sleep disorders and respiratory conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centred care.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
