About Us

This imaging provider is expanding their  services with a new practice in North Queensland.  This is  a vibrant regional community rich in culture, history, plenty of activities for outdoor, beach and bush walking.  A vacancy has become available for a motivated and outgoing Sonographer to join the team and provide exceptional care to the local community.

The Role:

With an option to work as a sole Sonographer or with a team, you will work closely with other health care professionals and manage a diverse caseload in a private practice setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including General, Small Parts, Vascular, MSK, and Pregnancy.
  • Manage work lists efficiently, accommodating urgent cases where necessary.
  • Supervise and train junior sonography staff as required.
  • Collaborate with referring practitioners to ensure patient care is of the highest standard.
Skills and Experience:
  • Current ASAR registration.
  • Competence in a variety of ultrasound modalities (experience in Nuchal Translucency and Echocardiography is welcomed but not essential).
  • Strong ability to work independently in a rural setting.
  • Current CPR certification (preferred).
