The Clinic 

The practice is a dedicated team of medical professionals passionate about providing exceptional vascular care to patients. Currently, they practice is eager to extend their services to five days. To achieve this, they are offering positions to sonographers with an interest in managing a range of vascular studies.  
The vascular sonographer will work along side a team of highly respected vascular surgeons in this doctor owned clinic.  
The clinic has an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Vascular Sonographer, you will:
  • Perform a variety of vascular studies, including arterial (upper and lower limb), DVT (upper and lower), venous incompetence, renals, visceral, abdoiliacs including ELG, AVF, carotids, and IMA for CAGs workup, mapping for AVF, and mapping for PICC.
  • Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the scanning process.
  • Utilise Philips Affiniti Ultrasound Machine and report findings via medical software program, Shexie.
  • Work closely with our medical team, providing timely reports 
  • Adhere to established protocols and maintain a high standard of image quality
  • Expected scan time for each study is 30 minutes, including reporting. Bilateral or double scans, including reporting, are allocated 60 minutes.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer as a Vascular Sonographer or as a General Sonographer.
  • Relevant experience in managing a range of vascular studies  
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Working Hours:

  • Start Time: 8:30 AM.
  • Finish Time: 4:30 PM.
  • 30-minute lunch break (7.5 hours per day), with flexibility if preferred to work through and leave earlier.
Remuneration:
  • Hourly pay rate commensurate with experience.
