About the opportunity
The Analyst will perform Incoming Goods sampling and testing efficiently and safely in accordance with approved test procedures, SOP and current best practice (Code of GMP, USFDA).
Duties
- Paperwork check for incoming goods
- Certificate of analysis reviews
- Physical testing of materials
- Retention sample management
- Order QC approved materials required to carry out all test procedures
- Participate in the follow-up investigations of OOS results as required
- Data entry and test authorisations using LIMS where requested
Skills and Experience
- Degree in Science majoring in chemistry/applied chemistry or an equivalent tertiary qualification
- Relevant experience in a Pharmaceutical QC Laboratory
- Knowledge and experience of the code of GMP and GLP
- Ability to use complex laboratory instrumentation
- Good written verbal and communication skills
- Ability to work un-supervised
- Ability to follow complex test procedures
