About the opportunity
A unique opportunity reporting into the Supply Chain Manager and managing the pharmaceutical wholesale relationships from a supply chain perspective. This is not a sales role, this is a role where you will be the interface between the company and the wholesalers. You will be responsible for implementing processes and best practice to maximise these relationships.
Duties
Develop cross functional distribution channel management strategies and execute these strategies for wholesalers and key buying groups
Implement external S&OP meetings allowing more visibility
Implement review meetings to ensure maximising the relationship
Understand their inventory strategies, policies and any changes to warehouses and distribution
Lead supply chain projects relevant to the different wholesalers
Map and analyse networks, trends, data and ecosystems and secure market supply towards patients
Drive deeper integration with their customers from a technical and business perspective
Increase operational efficiency and reduce costs where possible
Collaborate internally with key stakeholders
Skills and Experience
Solid experience working in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on supply chain
Experience managing relationships with pharmaceutical wholesalers or working in a pharmaceutical wholesaler would be advantageous
Exceptional relationship building skills with the ability to influence
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
The ability to drive progress and lead projects
