About the opportunity
The Quality on the Floor Technician is responsible for real-time in process checking for Packing, sample inspection for Visual Inspection and batch review for Filling, VI and Pack.
 
Duties
  • Review of process documentation for accuracy and clarity
  • Complete in-process checks, sampling and inspection using AQL methodologies for Visual Inspection
  • Responsible for product quality and compliance partnering with all teams within the site value streams regarding product quality aspects using structured processes
  • Complete quality oversight of media fill inspections and In-process Checks for packing operations
  • Conduct real-time GEMBA of visual inspection and packing processes to ensure continuous improvement in the manufacturing facility
  • Provide quality guidance and initial point of contact for Quality escalations
  • Conduct training for production as applicable
  • Maintain local area gowning qualification


Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences or Pharmaceutical Science
  • Previous Pharma experience, if not that then food industry, experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Must have 2-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, QC or QA role
  • Good attitude and willingness to stay in the role
