About the opportunity
The Project Operations Specialist acts as a trusted advisor to the development and clinical R&D project managers and project teams to effectively plan, manage, and deliver R&D projects.

Duties
  • Acting as the Site Champion, responsible for supporting all of the Project Managers across APAC
  • Use of Microsoft Project Server and a series of analytical tools eg – Qlik
  • Troubleshoot issues that PMs may experience with project planning or using the reporting tools
  • Assist with managing the vendor, setting priorities, do testing, assist project managers understand how to use the tools.
  • The person will interface with 30-40 project managers in Aust, US, China, Tokyo
  • Tasks could be simple like password resets, or more complex such as how do I create a critical path or how to use the tools in general
  • Person will also look after the Internal mailbox for support (in conjunction with the manager)
  • Person will also look after some manual tasks for some of the tools, (shared with the manager) eg in the operations calendar there is a list of things that occur regularly, and there are instructions on how to do those task
  • This is an APAC role so person will be responsible for handling calls from Japan and China as well
  • Also responsible for SharePoint maintenance

Skills and Experience
  • Must have a Bachelor of Science or Business Administration
  • Project Management software experience
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Experience in Clarity and Qlik Sense is required
  • Experience in SharePoint maintenance
  • PMP certified ideally
