About the opportunity
A global pharmaceutical company is expanding its supply chain inviting someone to join the team to support the Supply Chain Manager being the main point of contact for their 3PLs and their wholesalers as well as working cross functionally. 
Although this is initially a temporary role, they are looking for someone who can commit to this long term with plans to transfer this to a permanent position when granted head count. 
There are options to train the right person and succession planning is important to them providing a great opportunity for someone new.
 
 
Duties

• Monitor and track customer order status resolving issues
• Point of contact for the 3PL 
• Support pricing and wholesaler rebate claims
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock at the 3PL
• Manage inventory replenishment
• Assist with stock take
• Coordinate with the global supply chain to ensure shipments are scheduled correctly
• Work with freight forwarders to ensure correct documentation
• Resolve any shipment issues
• Provide reports using SAP 
• Maintain accurate records of end to end supply chain activities
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Attend onsite 3PL meetings

 
Skills and Experience

• Experience within pharmaceutical, medical device or FMCG industries is required
• 1-2 years experience in logistics or supply chain in a similar role
• Expertise with Excel to pull reports
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working with an ERP system such as SAP
• Ability to commence a role as a temp with working rights to allow you to take the role permanently.
