Our client is seeking a warehouse operator to perform various shipping and upkeep duties within the warehouse including accepting orders, managing supplies, organising products as well as administrative and clerical duties.
Responsibilities
- Might be variable to start with – still some routine to be established
- Receiving delivery truck to the warehouse entrance
- Unloading truck with forklift
- Bring material to material airlock
- Checking deliveries for any damage and that it matches the purchase order
- Checking documentation
- Unpacking delivery – ensuring it goes to correct location eg fridge/freezer
- Place the delivery to staging area
- Receipting to SAP against PO
- Unpacking and putting away delivery and warehouse cleanliness
- Picking – transfer materials to production according to pick list
- Filling in logs if materials need to go to certain location
- Undertake training as required – eg EHS and operations
Skills and Experience
- Completion of Year 12
- Forklift Licence
- Ideally 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Own car and licence and not close to public transport
- Must be able to start at 8:00 am
- System receipting experience is an advantage
